Using your credit or debit card to purchase online from Green & Frederick is probably more secure than using the ?traditional? swipe method employed in most restaurants and retailers ? because while making a purchase online, your credit card never leaves your sight.

Green & Frederick use the industry standard method of protecting the information you pass on ? SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).

Put simply, every time you enter a secure page, such as My Account, where personal details are entered, SSL is activated and a lock symbol appears on your browser. Then, any details you provide are encrypted - scrambled and coded, not once, but twice, and then only the Green & Frederick computer can ?decode? the information.
